Who we want… (Requirements)
- Assist with the assembly, fabrication and implementation of mechatronic solutions. Both at the Gray Solutions collaboration center in Lexington, Ky. As well as on site at customer locations.
- Ensure successful projects by working collaboratively with other team members, partners, or customers as needed in design and execution responsibilities.
- Support testing and commissioning activities as instructed.
- Provide on-site support and customer training as required.
- Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of our safety program on-site.
- Inventory management as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we expect… (Essential Functions)
- Candidates should have minimum of a high school diploma or certificate in some mechanical discipline.
- 0 - 3 years of professional work experience.
- Travel is a regular expectation of this role and depends upon the location of projects and customers, the stage of project execution, and your role in the project. Travel may also be required for annual company meetings and some training
- Project-based travel to customer sites and team check-ins can range 15-25% during the design phase, 0-10% during the implementation phase, and 40-75% during installation and commissioning phases.
- While the role requires travel, every effort is made to accommodate team members’ family and personal requirements.
