What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Consultant position at Gray & Company?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in establishing a safety culture within policyholder.
- Work with other consultants to conduct loss surveys, verify compliance, and identify unsafe conditions.
- Assist with gathering information and documenting to comply with site safety plans, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
- Work with policyholders to support policies and procedures that prevent accidents.
- Interact with lead consultants to provide corrective and reinforcing feedback to policyholders.
- Support lead consultants affirming policyholder implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Adapting to a flexible, paced, and dynamic work environment consistent with organizational core values and the mission statement.
- Develop the ability to write and implement written site-specific safety management plans.
- Gain an understanding of oil and gas, heavy construction, transportation, maritime, USL&H, and specialty contractor environments and risks.
- Other duties as assigned
