Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Manager to oversee operations within our Dayhab Operations in an environment serving the IDD population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of residents while fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the Dayhab, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage daily activities/schedules to enrich the Dayhab experience for our individuals.
- Develop and manage a monthly budget for activities and outings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Lead and mentor staff, providing training and support in areas such as medication administration and and prevocational skills.
- Collaborate with social workers, families, and external agencies to coordinate services and resources for residents.
- Monitor resident progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments of staff performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all residents, addressing any issues promptly.
- Facilitate communication among team members to promote a cohesive approach to care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a Dayhab or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and long-term care practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Positive attitude and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and memory care techniques.
- Background in social work or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to develop effective care plans based on individual resident needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $14.66 - $16.96 per hour
