Job Summary/Description:
The Copy Coordinator must be an energetic, organized team player to work closely with station’s sales team to ensure effective placement of sales activity, obtaining creative materials, assigning traffic to current orders, and generating support materials.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities include but not limited to managing and distributing house numbers across multiple stations using Wide Orbit traffic software, entering detailed copy information, maintaining relationships with third parties providing copy and copy instructions, maintaining instruction files, spot library files, and other various traffic reports, distribution of dub and purge lists to station’s Master Control, downloading spots/programs from FTP sites, staying current on all procedures and policy changes, and undertake any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualifications for this position include heavy emphasis on attention to detail, must be dependable and consistently on-time for work, must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, work well under daily deadlines, ability to save the station money by minimizing errors, ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be open to learning new skills, systems, software. A working knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic system is a plus, but training will be provided.
