KSFY/KDLT is an award-winning television operation serving viewers in the eastern half of South Dakota as well as portions of southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. The stations operate from a new studio in downtown Sioux Falls as one re-branded organization called Dakota News Now. The facilities put Dakota News Now on the cutting edge of television and news gathering technology, making it one of the most state-of-the-art television stations in the market and the region. The Dakota News Now team produces 36 hours of news each week. Some of our employees have been here for more than 25 years. For others, this is their first job out of college. Job Summary/Description:
The Creative Services Producer will be involved in all media aspects of commercial production with local businesses. They will also assist in additional production involving promoting image brand of Dakota News Now. Production promoting other events participated through the company can be included to the annual workflow.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Creative Services Director, Creative Staff, Sales/Marketing Team and Local Business owners in various productions.
- Manage multiple jobs simultaneously that are produced on schedule
- Write Scripts, Shoot and Edit video Commercials/Special Programming at a high professional standard
- Graphic/Animation Design for on-air/print/digital platforms
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience with non-linear editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere, After Affects, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to Multitask
- Ability to work well with a variety of people and formats
