WMBF has an opening for a Digital Content EP. The DCEP leads the digital team at WMBF and collaborates with station management on planning, coaching, and execution. In addition, the DCEP oversees daily operations on the web, mobile, social, and OTT. We're looking for an aggressive leader who will represent all things digital at all times.

- Coordinate with the news director and assignment manager on strategies for the digital department
- Understand and execute ethical, responsible news judgment
- Oversee all digital platforms for WMBF
- Monitor traffic and analytics, find ways to continue existing growth
- Write stories, create social media posts, app alerts, and related content
- Coordinate with other departments on digital projects
- Help lead news staff, providing insight, guidance, and managerial feedback
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred
- Empathy for others, with a dedication to collaborating and getting it right
- Proven track record working in broadcast journalism, with experience in the digital field
- Passion for innovative storytelling, newsgathering, and lifelong learning
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and deliver on tight deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure
