Job Summary/Description:
WTVY, the legendary #1 station in Dothan, Alabama, has an immediate opening for an MMJ/Special Projects Reporter. The ideal candidate has a broadcast journalism degree from an accredited college or university, a strong resume reel (an absolute must), and the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
MMJ duties include, but are not limited to, reporting on special content such as documentaries, and live sports events, and anchoring Friday Night High School Football. On our 24/7 stream, MMJ can host long-form programs, including sports-oriented ones. The position provides numerous opportunities on the broadcast and digital sides of an ever-changing industry.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Knowledge of Edius editing software and ENPS is preferred but not necessary.
- The ability to learn digital operations is mandatory.
- The chosen candidate must be able to pick up and carry 40 pounds of gear, have an excellent driving record, and have strong references.
