Job Summary/Description:
WECT in Wilmington, NC has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant who will work strategically with our Media Executives and sales management in a sales support role. The candidate will assist in reporting, data entry, presentation building, and creating advertising copy. The candidate will also present digital solutions to clients and help grow digital revenue. A proven record of digital sales experience, excellent communication, organization skills, and working knowledge of all digital media is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide digital and linear sales support for our sales team.
- Daily responsibilities include everything after the sale - order entry, digital design submissions, creating campaign forms to execute campaigns, monthly campaign performance reports, and daily communication with the team to ensure all campaigns are executed in a timely manner.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize client campaigns to ensure full delivery.
- Be an expert on all of our digital platforms and sales options.
- Understand the needs of the team and be proactive and reactive when necessary.
- Serve as a backup in the Traffic department. Collect and submit Traffic-related materials to execute Broadcast TV advertising schedules on air.
- High computer literacy across all devices (desktop/tablet/smartphone).
- Able to distill complex digital vernacular and technical elements into easy-to-understand concepts.
- Outstanding customer service. Must be excellent in building relationships and following through on promises and commitments made.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized, able to handle multiple orders at various stages of execution and development across dozens of accounts.
- Enjoys being an active support player for others. Comfortable working with salespeople and their clients, individually and together.
- Ability to make high-quality digital creative ads.
- Experience with WideOrbit, Google Ad Manager, digital ad networks, HTML, or development a plus.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with graphic programs (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus.
- Able to work quickly under pressure.
- Have a well-grounded understanding of the importance of making revenue goals
