Job Summary/Description:
WWBT, 12 On Your Side, is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and client-facing Senior Digital Sales Specialist to support and strengthen our digital sales operations. This individual will serve as the critical bridge between our Media Executives, clients, Gray Digital Media (GDM) team, and other internal operations. You'll be responsible for campaign planning, performance monitoring, and strategic support on high-revenue digital campaigns, while also playing a key role in training, communication, and workflow efficiency.

WWBT, 12 On Your Side, is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and client-facing Senior Digital Sales Specialist to support and strengthen our digital sales operations. This individual will serve as the critical bridge between our Media Executives, clients, Gray Digital Media (GDM) team, and other internal operations. You'll be responsible for campaign planning, performance monitoring, and strategic support on high-revenue digital campaigns, while also playing a key role in training, communication, and workflow efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Join high-revenue digital sales presentations as a subject matter expert.
- Provide strategic insight and support during pitch development.
- Help translate client objectives into actionable digital campaigns.
- Serve as a resource for more complex client questions during pre-sale and active campaigns.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and execution of digital campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and proactively recommend optimizations.
- Communicate directly with the GDM team to troubleshoot issues and request changes.
- Provide timely and professional reporting to MEs and clients.
- Identify pacing issues, under-delivery risks, or creative obstacles early.
- Act as a liaison between GDM, MEs, Assistants, and Managers to ensure seamless execution.
- Create/maintain clear documentation on product timelines, expectations, and campaign setup steps.
- Communicate digital updates, product changes, or GDM policies clearly to the team.
- Help lead weekly digital updates in sales meetings.
- Train new hires and internal personnel on digital platforms, processes, and best practices. Maintain internal training documents and process maps.
- Support assistant development and cross-functional understanding of digital operations.
- A motor Vehicle Registration check is required.
- 3 years in digital marketing, media planning, or campaign management.
- Excellent understanding of digital advertising products (display, pre-roll, CTV, social, etc.)
- Strong communicator and collaborator; able to work cross-functionally and under pressure.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to simplify complex digital solutions.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to spot trends and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
