KSNB is looking for our next primary co-anchor and newsroom leader at Local4. In this position, you will be the main driver of our weekday evening newscasts from our studio and newsroom in Hastings, NE. You will help lead a team of quality journalists to define the content and presentation of our local newscasts.

KSNB is looking for our next primary co-anchor and newsroom leader at Local4. In this position, you will be the main driver of our weekday evening newscasts from our studio and newsroom in Hastings, NE. You will help lead a team of quality journalists to define the content and presentation of our local newscasts.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited, to):
- You will be part of our leadership team at Local4.
- The role includes co-anchor on our weekday evening newscasts based in our Hastings, NE, newsroom.
- Your primary duties will be working with your co-anchor and producers to select and showcase content, and to anchor our highest-rated newscasts.
- Our anchors are true newsroom leaders, so we’re looking for someone who prioritizes fostering a positive, healthy, and collaborative culture with their co-workers.
- The person we’re looking for is a calm and clear communicator capable of reporting in-studio and living in the field.
- We also want a professional who leads by example, representing Local4 in the community and modeling a professional approach both internally and externally.
- 2 years of professional newsroom and on-air experience preferred
- Anchoring and reporting experience
- An engaging and comfortable on-air personality
- Ability to use exceptional news judgment to determine coverage priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with newsroom managers, producers, and co-workers
- Excellent writer
- Knowledge of journalism ethics and legal issues
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
