Assistant Production Manager

Job Description

• Has held a leadership position for no less than 5 years.
  
  

Ideal candidate must have similar experience managing in a manufacturing factory.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Making sure that all employees have their work assignments prior to the shift starting.
• Ensuring that you become knowledgeable and know how to operate all machines on the "Production Floor".
• Making sure all materials are at their workstations so; they can go to work immediately upon arrival.
• Making sure that employees are following the Schedule, not walking around wasting time.
• Making sure that they are producing quality products, on pace, with expectations given, doing it safely.
• Monitoring attendance by making sure the employees are not stretching their breaks, are punctual and that they clean up their area at the end of the day.
  
  

We need an Assistant Production Manager that takes initiative, can accomplish both Delegated and Implied Tasking's, and one that can lead by example. Regardless of where your managing, it is just about the same in manufacturing regardless of what you're producing.
