Who we want… (Requirements)
Must have a minimum of 10 years of superintendent/site management experience or a combination of college education and experience equivalent to 8 years.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail applications, project management software, and Microsoft project.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
Develops and maintains relationships with owners, co-workers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders. Communicates early and often with project team (i.e. project manager, design manager, customer, site team, subs, field ops, etc.) to ensure support and conformity of the company's vision and mission statement.
Walks the project to witness work going into place in conformance with Gray’s safety and quality standards. Leads by example and holds the site team accountable
Owns all aspects of the field activities from start-up to completion of project. Assists in the development of project schedules and utilizes it as a management tool to deliver the project on time. Provides real-time data to PM/scheduler for schedule maintenance. Conducts required meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities on site. This includes, but is not limited to project safety, quality, schedule, planning/coordination, jobsite logistics, leading the on-site management team and subcontractor coordination. Establishes and manages a jobsite safety culture in accordance with Gray’s safety program.
Comprehends and reviews all drawings (i.e. shop, architectural, structural, etc) when they are issued to the field and maintains a current set at all times. Studies project documents to ensure the project is being built per plans and specifications, and in accordance with the contract.
May assist in location and evaluation of potential subcontractors, vendors and suppliers; solicitation of prices for review and approval; selection of qualified bidders; and negotiation of final prices, pricing work, and drafting changes for review by Project Manager.
Reviews project budget with the Project Manager on a regular basis to be in aware of the impacts the site team may on the budget. Prepares, documents and files project documents such as but not limited to daily reports, safety and quality audits, record drawings, test and inspection reports, and project photos.
Confers with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within work force.
Other duties may be assigned.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May supervise two or more employees e.g. safety coordinator, assistant superintendent, field engineer, area superintendents. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include coordinating the work of the employees to satisfy the project objectives for safety, quality and schedule. The responsibilities do not include interviewing, hiring, setting pay, and performing reviews of employee.
