Job Summary / Description :
WPTA, 21Alive, Fort Wayne's News Leader, is seeking a passionate leader with producing experience to serve as a Weekend Morning Anchor. You'll also report three days a week. You'll join a team that is committed to providing viewers with engaging newscasts. The ideal candidate thrives in breaking news situations, understands the importance of First Alert Weather and the impact of 21Investigates. You know how to win the lead and adapt to changes. You'll take your role in the community seriously to work to develop strong contacts and story ideas.
Duties / Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Anchor and produce Weekend Morning Newscasts.- Report three days a week.- Use strong editorial judgement to make decisions quickly.- Develop ways to creatively present and showcase the day's top stories.
