Gray Construction is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Intern for its Lexington, KY office in Summer of 2025.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

What We Expect… (Essential Functions)
- Support the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) team in coordinating the design and engineering between various engineers for the customers’ process, equipment, and installation.
- Assist the SS&P team in performing estimating, bidding, and supplier procurement on projects.
- Support the coordination and scheduling of the SS&P activities on projects.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reporting project status to the customer. Support the SS&P in developing project proposals.
- Create and maintain departmental electronic files, forms, and brochures. Update data and metrics into Graysource.
- Read and route incoming mail. Locate and attach appropriate files to correspondence to be answered by the manager.
- Assist in composing and processing routine correspondence.
- Organize and maintain the file system and file correspondence and other records.
- Assist in coordinating proposal and bid package information or the coordination of document release. May help coordinate tracking contact status, vendor relations, and meeting minutes.
- Conduct research and compile statistical reports.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving, and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.
- Assist in the communication, implementation, and enforcement of Gray’s safety program.
- Other duties as assigned.
