Gray is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This position will be based in the Lexington, KY Office.

Who We Want… (Requirements)
A qualified candidate shall have:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience project management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management or bachelor’s degree (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A desire to grow their skills and abilities within the department
- Experience and basic command of the most recent versions of Microsoft Office
- Ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, and email
- Ability to adapt to new software, such as Procore, Smartsheet, CMIC, Building Connected, Bluebeam, PowerBI (experience is a plus but not required)
- Discipline and motivation to participate in a team environment
- Passion for building relationships, collaborating, and developing professionally
What We Expect… (Essential Functions)
This role primarily supports the Operational Procurement Team (Assistant Procurement Managers, Procurement Managers), which manages and leads procurement activities on projects. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Support procurement team, focusing on equipment and material procurement, to fulfill Gray’s direct procurement responsibilities on large industrial construction projects
- Assist in compiling technical and commercial documents needed for the purchase orders on required equipment (including HVAC, utility, heavy industrial equipment, electrical, materials, etc.)
- Read project schedules and interpret key dates
- Provide support for managers and assistant managers who are managing project timelines and mitigating supply chain issues
- Assist in the management of weekly meeting between procurement, technical teams, project management, and customers, by taking meeting minutes and updating meeting agendas
- Execute new vendor setup on internal system
- Overall administrative support for the procurement team to fulfill procurement responsibilities on multiple projects
- Follow best practices established by procurement leadership, to ensure all equipment is purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
- Participate in continuous improvement of procurement processes and policies to accommodate changing organizational needs and market conditions.
