What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Business Development Leader position at Grayce Bridal & Formal?
We are looking for a strong individual to lead alongside the Regional Business Development Leader in our Portland store! The primary role of an Assistant Business Development Leader is to partner with the regional BDL to build and develop their team. Assistant BDLs assist in training, inventory and customer software management, and ensuring excellent store appearance and customer experience. They also work one on one with customers when needed. Strong assistant BDLs are driven and self motivated, loyal, and organized. BDLs must embody company mission & values and be able to effectively develop a store culture that reflects those. Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication, and technology skills are required.
We have a strong culture of leadership development, so it is important that all leaders are actively engaged in personal growth. It is our goal that BDLs engage in active self care and rest in addition to working hard. This position requires no formal education past a high school diploma, but experience in leadership or retail is preferred.
BDLs are hired on a salary plus commission basis, with benefits. Salary will be dependent on experience and aptitude for the job. BDLs also receive yearly profit sharing bonuses based on a score card.
