Responsibilities :

Clean resident rooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor

Clean other interior and exterior areas

Assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents

Complete repairs, construction type projects, and servicing of equipment in accordance with manufactures instructions, facility policy, and under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor

Ensure equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained

Conduct preventative maintenance as assigned to include but not limited to facility logs such as water temperature, call lights, generator and fire alarms

QUALIFICATIONS :

Previous experience in a long-term care facility / larger institution (preferred)

Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

Able to respond to emergencies and be on-call

Good Working knowledge of State Rules / Regulations

Relate positively and favorably to residents and families

Positive Can-Do Attitude
