Shuttle Operator
$30.33 per hour

Graymont’s Indian Creek Plant in Townsend, Montana, is seeking a Shuttle Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the candidates must possess a current CDL with proper endorsements, a strong safety attitude, strong sense of teamwork and cooperation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a self-directed work environment.
This is a 24/7 operation and applicants could work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends but is expected to be mostly day shift weekdays. This position is expected to be a backup to several positions Such as but not limited to crusher, rail, lab, quarry, kiln, or projects and other duties as assigned when there is not a need to operate the Shuttle.
Responsibilities
• Must possess and maintain a current CDL with applicable endorsements.
• Safety oriented in every aspect of the job.
• Team player, proactive with strong multi-tasking skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with good trouble shooting skills.
• Self-starter with ambition to improve overall plant atmosphere.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Capable of climbing steps and ladders to work at high elevations including man baskets.
• Willing to work overtime under the circumstances of the job and emergency situations.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations, good housekeeping and cleanup procedures must be followed on all jobs.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
