GrayRobinson, a full-service law and lobbying firm with attorneys and government relations professionals throughout 16 offices spanning the State of Florida and Washington, DC, has an opening in our Orlando office for a Network Engineer. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Network Services.
The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability and efficient operation of the information systems network, including LAN/WAN (route/switch), storage & backup, VoIP, mobility, server, Citrix, and DRaaS environments. Primary responsibilities include Windows server administration, LAN/WAN management, and virtualization management.
Duties:
• Responsible for the SDWAN and SIP networks, including comprehensive knowledge of route/switch technologies and configuration requirements.
• Responsible for the management of enterprise-grade technologies such as VMWare, Cisco, Citrix, and Microsoft’s on-premise and cloud offerings.
• Administer and maintain Cisco Nexus and Meraki switching environment.
• Administer various functions of the Azure stack such as Entra ID and Intune.
• Troubleshooting email system issues, mail delivery issues and spam reporting in a multi-site Exchange environment.
• On-call rotation, along with other network professionals, regarding after-hours issues based upon severity and/or business impact.
Experience and Skills:
• 8 years of relevant experience as a network engineer.
• Proven experience and success managing a redundant and fault-tolerant WAN/LAN environment.
• Knowledge and experience configuring BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Detailed and thorough knowledge of storage technologies and administration.
• Knowledge and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing.
• Experience with Azure, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with VMware in a Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environment.
• Experience with network security for Windows Server 2016/2019.2022 and Cisco devices.
Experience/Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years relevant work experience required.
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer)
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional
