Description

We are seeking a qualified part-time instructor to teach psychology courses at Grays Harbor College. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in the relevant field and experience in teaching. We prioritize student learning, promote student and faculty success, foster an inclusive environment, manage our resources, and connect with the community. Our goal is to create a culturally relevant environment on campus and in the community by learning and practicing equity-mindedness and promoting faculty, staff, and student diversity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Place student success at the center of their courses.
• Engage with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to create a community of learners.
• Seek opportunities for teaching and learning excellence.
• Respect the richness of diverse cultural values, beliefs, and practices of others.
• Align course curriculum with program learning outcomes.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

• Masters degree from an accredited institution in the discipline required.

OR

• Masters degree from an accredited institution from any discipline including 15 graduate semester credits in the discipline
