- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all youth detained in the facility.
- Process youth through the intake procedure upon admission to the facility.
- Supervise daily detention activities and movement of all youth housed within the facility.
- Maintain written records of youths' daily activities on all assigned shifts.
- Operate and monitor all security equipment within the detention control center and maintain control room daily log.
- Interact with youth on one-to-one basis or through group activities.
