We are currently hiring a Relief Detention Worker to provide support to our juvenile detention program. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a full-time staff member, ensuring the safety and well-being of youth in our care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality support services. Key responsibilities include:
• Following directions from full-time staff members assigned to the same shift
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the facility and its operations
• Assisting with daily detention activities, including supervision and support of youth
• Maintaining accurate records and logs of facility activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least six months of relevant work experience
• A valid Washington State driver's license and first-aid card within six months of employment
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
