Job Title: Finance Director
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead our Accounting Department and oversee the financial management of Grays Harbor PUD. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with our executive peers and Board of Commissioners to set and manage our annual budget.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, and strong leadership skills. Public accounting experience, supervision of Union employees, and expertise in risk management and insurance would be highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the District's $130M annual budget and producing financial statements
- Assembling and presenting periodic financial status reports and multi-year financial forecasts
- Consulting on rates and rate-setting strategy, as well as developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with public accounting standards, practices, and statutes applicable to Washington public utility districts
