Position reports to: Assistant Operations ManagerManage or Supervise: NoneThis is a union bargaining position under the general direction of the Assistant Operations Manager. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for; selling passes, providing bus route information, keeping the station clean, and monitoring the activities of the public while on station property. Must be able to keep strict accounts and records of all monies.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Check out bus passes from the Transit office for the purpose of selling to the general public. Hand out bus schedules and provide bus route information and leave times to the general public. Monitor activities of the public while on station property, periodically checking restrooms for vandalism, check the public in and out of restrooms, and police station grounds for litter.Work effectively with the employees at all levels of the organization and with the general public.Clean all station restrooms daily.Other duties as assigned or directed in the employee manual.Assist drivers with spill clean-ups. Other duties as assigned.

Working ConditionsPosition may require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, repetitive motions, and carrying. May require exerting up to in excess of 20 pounds of force occasionally, and /or in excess of 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
