What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator position at Grayson Tool Co.?
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders and drawings. Verify accurate tolerances of parts being produced.
- Setup and adjust laser cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses. Use correct programs, proper gases, and proper nozzles.
- Load and unload materials onto laser table with overhead hoist and/or forklift.
- Maintain proper process documentation for all operations performed by recording operator name, date, and quantity of parts produced on shop travelers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Assist co-workers and supervisors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience.
- Familiar operating tape measure, calipers, and hand tools.
- Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.
Work hours:
- Monday - Friday 6:30am - 4pm 40-45 hours per week
