We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the implementation and enforcement of security policies, risk management frameworks, and compliance initiatives. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to address access-related issues, perform security assessments, and enhance governance and compliance measures. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for users regarding security access and compliance matters.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify and assess potential security risks and compliance gaps, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Provide user support by walking through security-related troubleshooting and problem-resolution processes.
- Configure and maintain user access profiles and security tools in alignment with internal policies.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and follow up to confirm issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through ongoing monitoring and security assessments.
- Participate in security audits and contribute to process improvements to strengthen governance and risk management frameworks.
- Assist in security awareness initiatives, helping to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently, balancing new hire onboarding and existing user access requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a technical support role with customer-facing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Windows-based systems and IT troubleshooting.
- Associate’s degree in information security, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of risk management, governance, and compliance principles.
- Experience with GRC tools and frameworks is a plus.
