Millwright Superintendent #2840 in Port Sulphur, LA

Graywolf Integrated Construction is seeking a Millwright Superintendent at our Port Sulphur, LA project. Our Craft Superintendents are the lifeline to our customers and craft and will be responsible for managing projects in varying sizes. Assignments may be short or longer in duration and selected hires will travel from project to project and will be key in mobilization from the planning to execution phase. Heavy travel will be required and therefore a company truck will be provided along with a strong competitive compensation package of wages, completion bonuses along with a lucrative benefit package of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) and paid time off. Millwright Superintendent

Essential Duties:

• Lead and inspire General Foreman, Foreman for excellent results in safety and performance.
• Manage contract deliverables.
• Attend all customer meetings with project updates and work to remove any obstacles that may impede project excellence.
• Review and work collaboratively for any change orders.
• Collaborate with all levels within the organization on project completion and turnover.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained and in accordance with crew-mix and composite rate.
• Maintain project schedule related to manpower, materials, and plan for contingencies.
• Champion company values and ethics and help to develop future leaders in a meritocracy-based region.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of heavy industrial experience with 3-years as a Craft Superintendent or above.
• Preferred steam/gas turbine installation experience; LNG/Power experience
• Completion of Engineering or Construction Management program is preferred. NCCER certifications are preferred (NCCER Plus).
• OSHA-30 or the ability to complete OSHA-30 upon selection.
• Technical knowledge of O365/SharePoint and other planning construction software.
• Strong experience in Safety, Leadership, Mobilization, Negotiation, Planning and Contract Administration.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.

Base Compensation: starting at $110,000.00/company provided truck.
