Essential Functions, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- May collect, enter and submit all payroll data for employees in accordance with deadlines.
- May perform administrative tasks associated with purchase orders, invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Collects and enters shift details into appropriate systems.
- The ability to accurately perform high volume data input/data entry.
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of project leadership, site employees as needed and client interface in regards to cost tracking.
- Thoroughly document reconciliation between shift details and client time/attendance system.
- Communicate and work closely with management to relate non-critical, critical/urgent issues.
- Plan work on a daily basis.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Assist project management with any additional administrative duties that may be required to support the project.
- Participation safety program, attending safety meetings and other related activities as required.
- Must be able to work variable hours as needed including weekends and holidays.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 2-4 years of progressively responsible applicable experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous union payroll experience
- Completion of pre-hire and post-hire substance abuse testing as required by company and/or client.
- Completion of Safety related council programs as required by company and/or client.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
- Stand or walk for long periods of time
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
- Frequently lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds, occasionally lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
- Acceptable visual acuity for near, far and color - naturally or with correction
- Eye-hand coordination
- Rain Coat or Poncho.
- Steel toed or Composite toed, lace up work boots.
- Safety protection required by work, job site and customer
