Overview
We are seeking a passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience in a fast paced environment.
Must be teachable, able to multi-task, have a professional presentation of self, and able to be engaging with guests. An understanding of mixology techniques is required. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating unique and delicious mock/cocktails while providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant hospitality environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experience. Occasional Catering Events will require Bartending and Cocktail creations as well. Wine knowledge is a plus - however, the right trainable candidate is welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Maintain an organized bar area, including inventory management and cleanliness.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food pairings with beverages.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations.
- Assist in training new staff on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and cocktail recipes.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain OLCC License and Food Handlers License.
- Be willing to complete required reading to benefit your skill and understand our foundation of drinks and service in the bar.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory.
- Must be quick and neat in mixing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in mixology and the food industry is required; catering experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
- A passion for hospitality and the ability to work in an upscaled environment.
- Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Wine knowledge preferable but not required.
