Landscape Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional landscape management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces through effective management of lawn care, garden maintenance, and tree care. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks while supervising a team to ensure high-quality results.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations of landscape maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee lawn care activities including mowing, fertilization, and pest control to maintain healthy turf.
• Manage garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and weed control to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Lead tree care initiatives including trimming, planting, and removal as necessary for safety and health of the landscape.
• Coordinate irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal water usage for all plants and lawns.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Train team members on best practices in landscape maintenance, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess landscape health and identify areas for improvement.

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising teams with a focus on leadership and team development.
• Strong knowledge of horticultural techniques, perennials, ornamentals, trees, and landscape management practices.
• Ability to effectively maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper water management.
• Ability to effectively landscape lighting systems and ensure proper operation and effect.
• Proficient in proper horticultural methods including pruning, planting, and disease management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during landscaping projects.
• A critical eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all aspects of landscape maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
