In this fast-paced role, you'll be the face of Grease Monkey, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every customer.
Here's what you'll do:
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, explaining our services and pricing.
- Clearly communicate with waiting customers, keeping them informed and answering their questions.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for everyone.
- Review service orders with customers at checkout, explaining what was done and future recommendations (like air filters!).
- Be a champion for customer feedback, encouraging them to share their experience.
- Resolve any customer concerns and handle damage claims professionally.
- Send departing customers off with a smile, reminding them to return for future car care needs.
Bonus points if you have experience in a similar role! (Service writer background a plus, but not required.)

Here's what you'll need to succeed:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and use multiple software programs
- A driver's license and ability to operate basic mechanic tools (think wrenches!)
- Experience managing a similar automotive service environment is a plus

- The ability to work in various weather conditions (it's not all sunshine and rainbows!)
- Physical stamina (standing, walking, reaching, lifting - you got this!)
