Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences for custom cake designs.
- Prepare and bake cake layers according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Package finished cakes attractively for delivery or display in the store.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in catering events by providing cake services as needed.
- Utilize kitchen tools such as knives and mixers safely and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cake decorating or a related role within the food industry.
- Strong baking skills with knowledge of various cake recipes and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
