Great American Foods is seeking a Plant Operations Administrator. The primary function of this role is to provide cross-functional clerical and administrative support to the Operations Team at the Newark, NJ facility.
Responsibilities
- Supportive role in company sales operations, receiving purchase orders.
- Maintain daily inventory sheets and trucking sheets.
- Creating and/or entering purchase orders for vendors.
- Organizing daily invoices; ensure correct pricing and item codes.
- Sales order entry.
- Serve as liaison for logistics communications with outside parties, including both inbound and outbound.
- Support ongoing operational improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering the telephone and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Any ad hoc special projects as instructed by management.
Qualifications

- Proficient in MS Office; experience with sales automation or other web-based software programs.

Job Qualifications/ Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in an administrative, operational or related role.
- Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish and English (verbal) required; Fluent in English (written) required.
