Financial Analysis is a department within the P&C Financial Division that is responsible for analyzing financial statements, preparing financial models and collaborating and building trust with each of the strategic business units to strive for excellence in transparency and understanding of their financials.
Our financial division is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst! This position will be located in our Cincinnati office and will operate on a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques. Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Workday, Adaptive Planning or other financial planning software). Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills. Responds to changing business conditions and priorities.

Our financial division is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst! This position will be located in our Cincinnati office and will operate on a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Assists with and/or helps coordinate the annual budget and plan processes.
- Prepares budget and planning system for annual/quarterly budgets, maintains user access and works to address questions and ensure timely submission.
- Reviews information for accuracy and consistency
- Updates forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and market trends.
- Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and basic financial metrics.
- Prepares and may present financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist with the monthly close process including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial support for operational and strategic initiatives.
- Communicates financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Assists with identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Generally, 1-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting or more. Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. Continuing progress toward and/or the completion of a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
