As a Small Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for working closely with assigned agents and wholesalers to profitably grow a book of small commercial business.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :
- Building and Maintaining Relationships : Develop strong, collaborative relationships with agents and wholesalers to understand their needs and support their efforts in growing their business.
- Sales and Marketing : Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote our Workers’ Compensation and BOP policies through various digital channels.
- Underwriting and Risk Assessment : Evaluate and underwrite small commercial accounts to ensure profitable growth while adhering to company guidelines and standards.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze the performance of the book of business, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Customer Support : Provide exceptional support to agents and wholesalers, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
- Communication- Make impactful decisions with little oversight
- Performs other duties as assigned
