National Interstate Insurance is looking for an Actuarial Trainee, part of our Graduate Development Program, to join their team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield, Ohio office.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Learns various actuarial techniques and procedures.
- Becomes familiar with company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
- Updates data in established pricing and reserving analyses.
- Becomes familiar with basic statistical techniques.
- Improves upon basic knowledge in Excel and introduced to programming and other actuarial software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Field of Study : Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
Experience : Generally, 0 to 6 months of related experience. Prepares to sit for 1st Actuarial Exam.
