Position Overview
Great American Media is seeking a data-fluent and intellectually curious professional to join our growing Finance team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role bridging Great American Media's data collection, analysis and reporting. Working cross functionally with Analytics, Marketing, Product and Content, this role will drive insights in consumer behavior, content performance and revenue trends. Through owning KPIs in these areas, the analyst will enhance our subscriber experience, identify content most suitable for investment, and optimize performance marketing. Key responsibility will be developing and owning a comprehensive recurring revenue and customer LTV model. This role is a KPI expert integral to the company's growth as we seek to leverage data quickly and define our competitive positioning.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Employ data to inform high-quality strategic decisions for a growing, highly scalable business including dashboarding and executive presentations.
- Build out and manage long-term recurring revenue & predictive customer lifetime value model.
- Own goals and forecasts for key performance metrics within SVOD and Syndication including acquisition and retention benchmarks.
- Conduct deep dive analysis on customer LTV, content ROI, performance marketing efficiency and other actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Product team leadership as their analytics partner; be recognized as someone they can rely on for data-informed insights.
- Assist in marketplace competitive analysis, due diligence and business partnership efforts.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to secure data inputs and drive forward analysis.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics or related technical field, or equivalent business experience; MBA and/or direct experience with the steaming industry a plus.
- 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or a related field which blends analytical and strategic work preferred.
- Advanced data modeling skills. Experience in tools such as Google Analytics or similar a plus.
- Experience with data visualization software (Domo, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and a proven track record of developing and maintaining dashboards.
- Excel power user who is detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of information.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition and retention metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to make data conversational.
- Expertise in leveraging visualization and data insights to achieve goals.
- Ability to think strategically and formulate appropriate analytical solutions to solve business needs.
Working Conditions
This position is in an office environment and may require some travel. The hybrid schedule typically consists of being onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and remote Monday/Friday.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
