If you are a reliable and highly motivated self-starter who enjoys tackling new challenges every day, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a facility maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of buildings and equipment. Your duties will include making repairs to plumbing, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and carpentry, as well as ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
In addition, you will be required to perform regular inspections as part of preventative maintenance and make recommendations for improvements. Your role will involve tasks such as painting, landscaping, HVAC maintenance, and appliance repairs with minimal supervision. Occasionally, you may need to build or repair wooden structures, such as counters, benches, and cabinets. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Flexibility for some travel to other locations for varying periods of time will also be required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is essential for effectively managing work orders, communicating via email, and collaborating with team members using Microsoft Teams
- The role involves performing a variety of physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
- We are seeking a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and motivation in their work, capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
- Experience in various trades such as plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, and electrical work is highly valued.
- While not mandatory, certifications in equipment operation will be considered advantageous, showcasing additional skills and safety awareness.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols is crucial. Candidates must be willing to adhere to all safety measures, including OSHA regulations and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, to ensure a safe work environment.

- The standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with the expectation of occasional Saturday shifts, on-call responsibilities, and potential overtime to meet business needs.
