Maintenance mechanic

Great Basin Industrial is searching for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. If you enjoy maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, we want to hear from you! As a Maintenance Mechanic at Great Basin Industrial, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and construction equipment.

In this position, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Location: This position is onsite at our warehouse in Plymouth, Utah.

Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm with some flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, making necessary repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve mechanical problems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance mechanics preferred
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
