Job Functions:
- Greet and check in patients
- Confirm patient appointments
- Collect insurance information
- Schedule appointments
- Follow up on no shows/cancellations
- Work unscheduled treatment list
- Prepare patient charts by accurately transferring and recording data to Practice Management System
- Prepare, present, and schedule treatment plans
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Balance nightly deposits and prepare bank deposit
- Prepare and send nightly reports
- Confirm insurance coverage and frequencies to determine copays
- Communicate referral and consult information to other offices
- Follow up on progress of referrals and consults
Experience:
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans and dental terminology
- 1 years of dental/medical or equivalent front desk experience
