Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks, with forecast for extension
What You'll Do:
Learn and Grow: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair
of electrical systems under the expert guidance of journeyman electricians.
Get Hands-On: Dive into interpreting and following electrical plans, schematics, and blueprints.
Build Skills: Help with the installation of wiring, fixtures, and equipment, and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
Tool Up: Master the safe and effective use of power tools and hand tools.
Stay Safe: Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean and organized work area, because a tidy workspace is a safe workspace.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Training: Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
Knowledge Base: Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring, and familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
