Great Bay Underwriting Services – Underwriting Assistant
Position and responsibilities:
The Underwriting Service Assistant will provide clerical and research support to underwriters. Job duties will vary, but often include ordering underwriting reports, collecting policy documents, preparing letters and other required policy documents.
The Underwriting Service Assistant will also:
- Work closely with our agency force to triage new business appetites and exceptions.
- Communicate directly with our Agency force on various business related issues along with follow up items underwriters request.
- Perform administrative duties on new and renewal Accounts.
- Order various underwriting reports.
- Act as a liaison between various departments.
- Review Inspection Reports for any material change/discrepancies from the initial application.
- Develop and deliver recommendation letters and follow up for compliance on the recommendations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,500.00 - $42,500.00 per year
