Licensed Athletic Trainer - Sports Medicine (Full-Time)

Position Overview:
As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a vital role in our sports medicine program, working under physician supervision to provide expert care and injury prevention services to athletes and active individuals. This position offers a perfect blend of clinical work and on-field experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement comprehensive athletic injury management programs including prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Provide athletic training coverage for sporting events and practices
- Develop and execute conditioning and reconditioning programs
- Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate athletes, parents, and coaches on injury prevention and care
- Manage and maintain athletic training facilities and equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred)
- Current New York State Athletic Trainer License
- NATABOC Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Must be 21 years or older (NYS requirement)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
