Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Team Member

Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute precise scrub duties during diverse surgical procedures
- Maintain strict sterile technique protocols while managing surgical instruments and supplies
- Anticipate surgical team needs and ensure proper equipment preparation
- Collaborate closely with RNs and surgeons during procedures
- Assist in operating room turnover and equipment sterilization
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- 2 years of surgical technologist experience preferred
- Acute care experience highly valued
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
