Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator leads and coordinates all unit operations while ensuring exceptional patient-centered care delivery. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to drive quality outcomes and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize patient flow through effective admission and discharge management
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient care outcomes
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration to enhance service delivery and patient experience
- Implement and maintain evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through education and performance management
- Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care
- Oversee inventory management and equipment utilization
- Champion patient satisfaction initiatives including hourly rounding and service recovery
Required Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Florida RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced nursing certifications (CEN, TNCC)
- Previous charge nurse or leadership experience
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
