Position OverviewWe're seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our 50-bed Emergency Department located just 13 miles south of Atlanta. This role offers the perfect blend of professional growth and work-life balance with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care and treatment during night shifts
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
- Supervise and coordinate with nursing staff and specialists
- Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR
- Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- ABEM/ABOEM board certification or eligibility
- Active Georgia medical license or eligible for licensure
- Current DEA registration without restrictions
- Valid ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical experience in Emergency Medicine
