Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through expert nursing assessments and diagnoses
- Champion patient and family advocacy while maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality standards
- Implement and evaluate evidence-based care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and support newer nursing staff
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Experience with electronic health records
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (CMSRN or Med-Surg RN-BC)
