Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee medication preparation and dispensing for both inpatient and outpatient services
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system
- Provide clinical pharmacy services and drug information
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor drug therapy for safety and effectiveness
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Current New York State Pharmacist License (or eligible for licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evening shifts (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM primary)
