Immune Effector Cell Therapy Program Coordinator - BMT/CAR-T Specialist
A leading healthcare institution in sunny Florida is seeking an experienced Immune Effector Cell Therapy Program Coordinator to join their prestigious Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities in managing advanced cellular therapies, including CAR-T cell therapy and bone marrow transplantation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for the multidisciplinary transplant team
- Coordinate and facilitate telemedicine conferences between transplant physicians, referring providers, and patients
- Develop and maintain comprehensive patient care plans and support systems
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and best practice implementation
- Ensure compliance with FACT accreditation standards and CIBMTR reporting requirements
- Manage complex treatment protocols for cellular therapy and transplant patients
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Florida or valid multistate license
- 3 years of recent acute care leadership experience in oncology/transplant (consideration given for 1-2 years of leadership experience)
- Current BCLS certification
- Strong clinical background in Hematology/Oncology, BMT, or Cellular Therapy
- Excellence in interpersonal communication and team leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- BMTCN or OCN certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
- Previous experience in CAR-T cell therapy or bone marrow transplant programs
- FACT inspection experience
