Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor clinical staff while ensuring delivery of exceptional patient care
- Develop and implement strategic plans for department operations and quality improvement
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation effectively
- Oversee patient care protocols and nursing processes to maintain high clinical standards
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient safety metrics
- Foster a culture of excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Coordinate staff education and professional development programs
- Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- 2-3 years of recent acute care leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager)
- Experience in acute hospital settings (Med/Surg, ICU, PCU, Step-down, Telemetry, or Inpatient Rehab)
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
- ACLS and BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated experience in staff development and mentoring
